Thoughts on Legend of Korra’s less-than-stellar ending.
After watching the season finale of the new Avatar series, Legend of Korra, Beth and I were left to discover a new kind of silence, which is the “two people both sort of reeling about what they just saw and wondering if what happened actually happened” silence.
I think it’s exclusive to pop-culture addicts.
There’s a lot of nerdrage going on about it and I’m not really going to nerdrage quite so much as others have and will. Dissecting plot points isn’t something I really like doing because I prefer to try and figure out problems in the story and, where possible, production.
Especially with something like this because after Avatar: the Last Airbender, I really expect better of the showrunners.TL;DR - I’m not really angry; just disappointed.
